Governor Murphy signed Executive Order (EO) 415 which terminates several public health emergency EOs. This impacts advanced practice nurses in NJ as they were permitted temporary flexible practices (e.g. related to collaborative agreements and prescriptive authority) during the COVID-19 pandemic. The termination of EO 103 specifically is effective February 16, 2026 (provided by a 30-day extension) to give Advanced Practice Nurses time to ensure adherence with practice requirements.
