Alzheimer’s Association
The Greater New Jersey Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association is here to help and support people with Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders and their caregivers in the fourteen counties we serve in Central and Northern New Jersey – Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union and Warren.

Bergen Volunteer Medical Initiative
The Bergen Volunteer Medical Initiative, Inc., is a volunteer nonprofit organization providing free primary and preventive medical care to low-income working people in Bergen County without insurance or the means to pay for care.
BVMI is the only state-licensed ambulatory care facility in the county that offers free healthcare for individuals earning up to 250% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines who do not have health insurance.

Meals on Wheels – Mercer County
Founded in 1973, Meals on Wheels of Mercer County provides daily, home-delivered meals to individuals who are homebound, and are unable to shop or prepare meals for themselves. These “meals-on-wheels” are delivered by volunteers five days per week, and may include weekend meals.

Inspira Health Network
Inspira Health, which traces its roots to 1899, comprises three hospitals, two comprehensive cancer centers, several multi-specialty health centers and a total of more than 150 access points. These include urgent care; outpatient imaging and rehabilitation; sleep medicine labs; cardiac testing facilities; digestive health and wound care centers; home care and hospice; and more than 35 primary and specialty physician practices in Gloucester, Cumberland, Salem, Camden and Atlantic counties.

Volunteers of America Delaware Valley
Volunteers of America Delaware Valley (VOADV), is a 501(c) 3 non-profit social service agency that has been providing essential services to vulnerable individuals and communities since 1896. Headquartered in the city of Camden, New Jersey, VOADV is characterized by its diversity of programming and assistance services and supported by a team of more than 400 qualified, mission-driven professionals that work tirelessly on behalf of their clients.

Johnsonburg Camp and Retreat Center
In 1959, Johnsonburg Camp & Retreat Center was established to provide experiential Christian education in support of the Presbyterian Church in New Jersey. Johnsonburg today is a place where city kids meet country kids, where black and white discover common ground, where the rich and poor of means and spirit are valued equally, and where each is encouraged to take another vital step toward realizing oneness in Christ.

HiTOPS
HiTOPS provides positive, non-judgmental, accurate, affirming programs and services in welcoming, fun, affirming spaces for young people of all identities, and the people who work with, and care for them.

Vineland Department of Health
The Health Department works to promote, protect, and improve the health of all Vineland residents. We have a staff of dedicated professionals that strive to meet the varied needs of those in the community through a wide range of programs and activities.

Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments
In December 2008, fifty nursing leaders were selected to represent the nursing profession at a 4-day, invitational meeting to develop a strategic plan for environmental health nursing. They represented the following: nursing sub-specialty organizations ranging from nurse midwives, school nurses, and nurse practitioners, to critical care, neonatal, and public health nurses: state nursing associations; as well as the national organizations of Black and Hispanic Nurses Associations. While there were many small accomplishments at this meeting, the two that stand out are the following:

Mental Health Association NJ – Union/Hudson

Greenwood House
What started as a community nursing home for the aged back in 1939, Greenwood House is now a comprehensive provider of wellness-focused senior lifestyles and health care services that includes skilled nursing care, rehabilitation services, assisted living, homecare services and hospice care.

Central Jersey Family Health Consortium
The CJFHC is integral in providing information to its members in regard to new and /or current state and federal mandates. Examples of their role include interpretation and dissemination of information regarding these mandates, and education of staff, community partners and individuals. The Consortium also serves in an advocacy role in both legislative awareness and implementation. We often participate in the development of policies and procedures related to new and changing regulations in New Jersey. Through membership in the Consortium, maternal child health concerns and issues are voiced collectively, which creates a stronger voice on behalf of the women and children in our region.

Mental Health Association In New Jersey
The Mental Health Association in New Jersey is a statewide non-profit organization that strives for children and adults to achieve victory over mental health and substance use disorders through advocacy, education, training, and services.

Red Cross – New Jersey
The American Red Cross New Jersey Region proudly serves a population of 8.8 million in New Jersey. The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.

Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care of New Jersey
Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care has officially joined AccentCare, bringing together their strengths to form a single, unified brand—AccentCare.
This merger enhances their ability to deliver high-quality, compassionate care across the full spectrum of personal care, home health, and hospice services. With a shared purpose and vision, the new direction aims to raise the standard of care and provide an exceptional experience for both patients and families.
While the branding has changed, patients will continue to receive the same trusted care. The unified AccentCare brand reflects a renewed commitment to better connect and support the continuum of care for those who need it most.

Muscular Dystrophy Association
The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) is dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by muscular dystrophy, ALS, and related diseases through groundbreaking research and expert care.
With over $1 billion invested in research, MDA has helped develop life-changing therapies. Its MOVR data hub accelerates treatment by combining clinical and genetic data. MDA also supports the largest network of multidisciplinary clinics, offers one-on-one resources, and provides free camps and programs to help kids and young adults build independence.

Children*s Futures
Children’s Futures is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve health and development outcomes for children and their families. To achieve our mission, we formally collaborate with schools, social service providers, health care agencies, faith institutions, civic associations, employers and others around school-readiness and success strategies that have the greatest positive impact on children’s immediate health needs, as well as long-term development.

Zufall Health
In 1990, with little seed money and a few volunteers, Dr. Robert Zufall and his wife, Kathryn, opened a small community clinic in Dover to provide medical care to poor, mostly immigrant families. The retired urologist treated patients while his wife managed the clinic and doggedly pursued funding opportunities. Their tenacity for enlisting volunteers generated a core team of physicians, dentists, and support staff so they could provide a full spectrum of services.

The Gateway Family YMCA
The Gateway Family YMCA, formerly the YMCA of Eastern Union County has been serving the communities in Eastern Union County and Northern Middlesex County since 1900. The Gateway Family YMCA serves Avenel, Carteret, Clark, Colonia, Elizabeth, Hillside, Kenilworth, Linden, Port Reading, Rahway, Roselle, Roselle Park, Sewaren, Union, Vauxhall, Winfield Park, and Woodbridge in NJ, and operates the Dudley House Veterans Transitional Housing Program in Plainfield, NJ.

Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey

Meals on Wheels North Jersey
Meals on Wheels North Jersey provides more than a meal to our home bound neighbors, nourishing both body and mind through the delivery of nutritious food and a daily personal visit. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

New Jersey Citizen Action
NJCA is a statewide grassroots organization that fights for social, racial and economic justice. We combine on the ground organizing, legislative advocacy, and electoral campaigns to win progressive policy and political victories that make a difference in people’s lives.

Camp Nejeda
Camp Nejeda has been providing empowering summer camp and other programs for children with type 1 diabetes and their families since 1958. Centrastate Healthcare System
CentraState Healthcare System, an Atlantic Health System partner, is a private, not-for-profit health organization located in Freehold, New Jersey (Monmouth County) and established in 1971. The system includes an acute care hospital, an ambulatory campus, three senior living communities, and a charitable foundation. CentraState Medical Center has been awarded its fourth Magnet© designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, placing CentraState in an elite group of less than 2% of hospitals in the nation to have earned Magnet recognition four consecutive times.

NJ Reentry Corporation
The NJRC is premised on the ambition to create an environment which promotes pro-social norms, encouraging the establishment of attachments to positive rehabilitative cultures, strengthening bonds among peers who promote positive norms and values, and promoting family reunification. Participants receive individualized assessments and treatment plans that first address essential needs, including housing, treatment, mental health care, medical care, and access to health insurance and other public benefits to secure these essential needs.

Trenton Health Team
The Trenton Health Team is an innovative collaboration including the city of Trenton’s two hospitals, St. Francis Medical Center and Capital Health; its only Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), Henry J. Austin Health Center, and the City of Trenton Department of Health and Human Services. By forging partnerships, creating new educational pathways and engaging city residents in creative ways, the Trenton Health Team is transforming healthcare for residents. We believe that by collaborating we can actually drive down costs while providing significantly better, more comprehensive and effective care.

City of Garfield
Mayor Richard “Riggs” Rigoglioso, a lifelong resident known to family and friends as “Richie Riggs” was sworn in as Garfield’s newest Mayor on January 1, 2017. Richie was a 1983 Garfield High School Graduate who went on to acquire his profound sense of storytelling at Plymouth State University, where he graduated in 1987. Being a diligent student of having fun while acquiring knowledge, Richie went on to receive his Masters of Education, plus an additional 30 graduate credits, from New Jersey University. His bachelor days came to an end after he first met his future wife Jessie (Figueroa), and altogether they have six children, all who attend the Garfield Public School system: Olivia, Richard, Giada, Joseph, Sofia and Anthony.

NJ Center for Tourette Syndrome & Associated Disorders (NJCTS)
Tourette Syndrome (TS) is an inherited, neurological disorder characterized by uncontrollable sounds and movements called tics. TS is much more common than most people think, affecting as many as 1 in 100 individuals.
In 2004, NJ Center for Tourette Syndrome & Associated Disorders, Inc. (NJCTS) received funding from the State of New Jersey to create a Center of Excellence that would provide programs and services to support families, public outreach and awareness campaigns, and education for schools and healthcare professionals in every corner of the state.
More than 15 years later, that funding has also helped NJCTS expand its reach beyond New Jersey through programs such as educational webinars, virtual support groups, the NJCTS Tim Howard Leadership Academy, and the NJCTS Family Retreat Weekend.

Hanover Township
The secret of Hanover’s past and present success is the commitment to fostering economic growth while preserving open space and parkland areas, providing excellent educational and recreational opportunities, and, most importantly, responding to residents’ needs. It is this commitment to good government that has shaped Hanover Township into what it is today – a thriving community, proud of its past and eager to continue its tradition of stability and excellence in government.
