Certified Nursing Assistant Data
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Data & Analysis Report highlights the vital role of CNAs in healthcare, detailing their training, certification, employment, demographics, and the challenges they face, with key data gathered from a comprehensive survey by the New Jersey Collaborating Center for Nursing and the New Jersey Department of Human Services (NJDHS), Division of Aging Services (DOAS).

New Jersey Supply and Demand Data
The New Jersey Collaborating Center for Nursing (NJCCN) is the primary source for data on New Jersey’s nursing workforce. NJCCN uses this data as a catalyst to implement innovative education and practice models that improve New Jersey’s healthcare resources. NJCCN’s supply data comes from our annual survey of New Jersey’s nursing education programs, as well as data from the Nurse License Renewal Survey from the Board of Nursing. Demand data is generated through Lightcast, which reveals the quantity, location, and source of job postings for New Jersey nurses. We have combined these data sources into models for understanding the relationship between supply and demand. These models result in workforce projections, which can be used to answer questions that are vital for long-term planning purposes.
