New Jersey as one of the 10 states with the largest projected RN shortages in 2036. NJ These projections assume the historical patterns of attrition, graduation and labor force participation remains the same over the forecast period. See the attached fact sheet. Enrollments in schools need to be increased to meet the demand if we are going to have enough providers for NJ residents.
